Laurice Anne Caronan

Ms. Laurice Anne Caronan, a devoted Filipina music educator and performer, graduated year 2011, holding DCPMA Asian Music Major in University of the Philippines, Diliman, Q.C.. Presently active as Program Director of PDEM and teaches Piano, Voice, Violin and Drums via face to face (in PDEM Kawit and Imus) and via online (Local and International).


Professionaly performing (since primary) and teaching since at the young age of 16. Knowledgable in performing Indigenous South East Asian Music and dance like (naming the few are), kulintang (ensemble) under Guru Aga Mayo Butocan (maguindanaon), Guru Kalanduyan and Dr. Felicidad Prudente (maranao) , tongatong, bungkaka, gamelan (javanese) under Dr. Lily Mae Montano, erhu and barathanatyam (indian classical dance). With these, she gives workshops in various schools like in International School Manila (ISM) on their Filipiniana Day. As iska, she had solo intrumental training from Ms. Mita Fernando (Piano), Aileen Cura (Voice), and Chona Noble (Violin)


Primarily, had a handful of learning from her mother's music school in Bataan as co-managing started as an assistant music teacher, music director, stage manager and host, recently known as Bach for the Arts and Music Studio (2001 - 2017). Has experience in classroom teaching in Divine Grace Development Learning Center as an adviser for Grade 5 and music teacher from kinder to secondary level (2011), Bulacan State University as music instructor for Bachelors in Education - Generalist Majors (2012), Bataan Montesorri - Music Instructor and Glee Club Coach for primary to secondary level (2013), Singapore School Manila as music consultant and after school activity for piano, voice and violin (2017).


Affiliated with TUGMA as co-founder (Tugtugang Musika Asyatika) under the guidance of Dr. Verne Dela Pena (presently Dean of UPCMU), Escola de Samba de Manila (as part of batucada - bateria) under the Baton of Toni Bernardo and co-founded by Ms. Eileen Sison, Anima Choral (Soprano), and UP Concert Chorus (Soprano II -trainee) under Ms. Jai Aracama.


Achievements received internationally as Best in Creative and in International Country Festival in Zhianjajie, Hunan, China under TUGMA (2009), all her students under PDEM passed an RSL International Certification Exam Board from to Distinction Score. Has been teaching and helping future musicians to pass the UPCMU Exams and audition like Ms. Riza Nery, who graduated as Suma Cumlaude in Music Education.


Her mission is to strengthen music education here in the Philippines by giving trainings and inspire more filipino music graduates to teach here locally to provide music education that will based on the culture and the arts of the Philippines. Nurturing young aspiring musicians will give the society a better place to live in.
